The momentum behind women’s flag football has accelerated even further after the NCAA officially added flag football to its Emerging Sports for Women program. College varsity programs are expected to continue increasing over the next several seasons as more conferences and universities invest in the sport. Several colleges are already preparing for future competition by hiring coaches years in advance.


For coaches interested in entering the women’s flag football space, this is one of the fastest-growing opportunities in sports today. Schools are looking for leaders with football knowledge, recruiting ability, organizational skills, and a passion for developing student-athletes.
