Preview of IFAF Americas Flag Football Continental Championships 2025

TEAMS HEAD TO PANAMA CITY TOMORROW!

From 12-14 September 2025, Panama City will host the IFAF Americas Flag Football Continental Championships, where the United States men's and women's teams look to defend their titles.

This year's expanded tournament features nine women's teams and 11 men’s teams from across the Americas and the Caribbean.

The women's competition is highlighted by the rivalry between Team USA and Mexico. Just weeks ago, Mexico, led by quarterback Diana Flores, edged past the Americans to defend their World Games crown. Veteran QB Vanita Krouch and Team USA now seek revenge, while Canada's rising squad will also challenge.

On the men's side, USA (world No. 1) and Mexico (No. 3) are favorites, renewing a rivalry last settled in 2023 with a narrow U.S. win. Several unranked teams could also play spoiler.

Beyond continental bragging rights, qualification for the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships in Düsseldorf is on the line.
